The Panama is an unusual name for a restaurant to say the least, but the Panama has been open in Cardiff since 1976. Our unique restaurant that serves up dishes with delicate flavours from the north east of Bangladesh and India, the Panama can hold fifty-two people in the main dining area and ten people in the lounge.
Head chef, Md Shejil Miah, trained in Bangladesh with over twelve years catering experience, creates dishes exclusively from this region. Dishes such as his delicious onion bhajis, vegetable samosas and multi-course set meals with a selection of Bangladeshi curries.
The Panama only uses the finest local suppliers of fresh produce and do not use additives other than specific natural colourings for presentation. The Panama is also an intimate yet stylish venue to enjoy a pre and post dinner drink.
